Biography
Chris is a highly successful and dynamic consultant trainer that challenges traditional approaches to learning & development. He specialises in interpersonal skills, performance management and development, leadership, coaching & mentoring, recruitment & selection and the entire trainer training portfolio. In addition to this he runs teambuilding events and provides facilitation services to management teams.
His stimulating training approach is always geared towards addressing targeted learning needs. Business-like yet with a “light touch” is how his delivery style could be described. Chris draws on the full range of accelerated learning techniques & approaches and very rarely (if ever) uses PowerPoint to deliver training courses
Client engagements have given Chris extensive overseas experience with both public and major private sector organisations. In recent years this has led to assignments in Barbados, Kuwait, Turkey, Sweden, Holland, Italy, India, The United Arab Emirates and Nigeria

Specialises in the provision of training, coaching, facilitation and consultancy to the public and private sector in the UK and overseas. Conducts training needs analysis, designs, delivers and evaluates training and other learning and development solutions in organisational and management development, team development, trainer training and interpersonal skills
Manages a network of associates which enables the role out of large client projects to the private and public sector in performance & management development for first, middle & senior managers
Delivers the CIPD’s Certificate in HR Practice and the Certificate in L&D Practice
Speaks annually at the CIPD’s HRD conference on topics including: training needs analysis, training evaluation and assessment and buying in learning services
Works as an independent assessor at assessment & development centres
Facilitates team development events both in and out of doors utilising psychometrics including MBTI, FIRO-B & 16PF when appropriate
Provides mediation services to resolve disputes between staff and line managers
Recent Projects and Achievements
Designed, developed and delivered a first line manager programme for a client and then enabled them to gain ILM accreditation for the programme
Designed, developed and delivered a management programme for a major tyre manufacturer. The programme carried university accreditation
Supported an organisation that was re-structuring all its management teams by designing and running assessment centres. Following this exercise a number of development modules were designed and are currently being delivered across all levels
Delivered a number of team building events which have been recognised as “money well spent” by all key stakeholders. These teams were in conflict were disagreement and climate was having a major impact on performance
Delivered CIPD HR & L&D certificates programmes overseas and acted as personal tutor to students.

Certificate in Training Practice
Level A Occupational testing with the British Psychological Society
Level B Intermediate Plus Personality assessment /profiling (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, CPI, 16PF and FIRO-B)
